Photo inspiration: Sandy Skoglund. Most people might think first of sculpture when thinking of Skoglund but her photographic documentation of her work is just as important. The relationship between art and the photo documentation of art is something I think about a lot and she’s oddly one of the first photographers I bring up when talking about my own work.
